Whiteboard diagrams lose the game
Every club has that cabinet full of whiteboard photos that have faded, been cropped wrong, or just plain lie. Here's what you're trading them in for.
The whiteboard problem
Photos fade and go missing. A phone photo gets cropped, rotated, and eventually lost. Your best drill from last season is gone because nobody can find the shot.
Lines lie at an angle. Photographed from the sideline, the pitch shrinks toward the back. Distances look different from how they feel on the turf, and players copy what they see.
Nothing moves. A drill is timing and movement, not a static diagram. On a whiteboard you can't show run timing, the order of steps, or the speed of play.
No link, no PDF. To share a drill you retake a photo and post it somewhere. You can't hand the bench a clean PDF or send players a link that opens on the pitch.
What SessionMatrix does instead
Accurate 3D pitch. FIH dimensions for outdoor and indoor, with a free-orbit camera. What you draw is what the drill looks like from any angle.
Animated steps. Keyframe every step of the drill with its own drawings, then scrub playback from 0.5x to 2x. Players see the run unfold, not a snapshot.
Share links. Send a view-only or editable link. Public share links open straight on the pitch - no account required.
PDF export. One printable page per drill with a snapshot of every animation step and its coaching points. Bench-ready, every time.
